The Big Brother of JAC S5 is Here

This car is the third JAC S5 model in Iran, which will be available to Iranian consumers after the first generation JAC S5 and JAC S5 facelift. As you can see in the pictures, JAC name and emblem have been removed from this car and now we are facing a KMC brand product.

Khodrocar - KMC X5 is a product of Jack's sub-branch known as Sohol X6. The Chinese have a habit of producing that car with a different name in their branches after the end of the production of a car. This happened to the JAC S5 as well, and after the end of its production in 2019, this car will continue to exist under the name of Sohol X6. Kerman Motor, which had no intention of removing its popular crossover from the production program, prepared the new version of this car, the same KMC X5, for release.

The KMC X5 is a basic facelift on the JAC S5, so the amount of changes in the front and rear of this car are impressive. As with most facelifts, the side view of the car remains unchanged and you can still see a memory of the JAC S5 in this section. The cabin of this car has also experienced significant changes compared to the past and now offers a completely new look to users. The comfort level of this car has also increased compared to JAC S5 Facelift.

In the technical part, we see the same engine and gearbox installed on the JAC S5 facelift in the KMC X5. Now this 1.5-liter turbocharger engine can release 181 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque thanks to improved software and hardware programming.

Therefore, the engine efficiency of KMC X5 has experienced a significant increase compared to before, as a result, the new generation JAC S5 can challenge other crossovers in this category. The six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission also sends power and torque to the front differential of this car.
